question: does anybody know anything about thermal pads (i think they're also called phase change pads)? and quality of different ones? and where to get them? i've searched and haven't found too much. i was hoping i'd find some at least a couple websites with good info, but it seems to be really scattered.

2nd question: where are 5 volt fans found? or what do i need to get to get 12 volt fans to work @ higher rpm from 5 volt source. i bought an antec tricool with 3 speed switch and it only starts/spins on highest setting and it's kinda slow. if i bump it on medium setting sometimes it will spin. trying to find a better way of doing this. i wanna make a custom laptop cooler with specific placed holes.
