Hi guys I just ordered a msi laptop wth a gtx770m gpu and I was wondering if it could run final fantasy 14 ARR on ultra? Also COD Ghost on ultra as well. I plan on overclocking it also I was wondering if it could play new gen title games like titan fall and elder scrolls when they come out on high 1080P 40 FPS?

    Much appreciated

You should manage fine with most of those titles. Pure speculation but the elder scrolls might be a challenge and will likely be CPU intensive too. What CPU did you get ?

Titanfall runs on the source engine, and that engine has the power to look amazing and not be very demanding, so you will be fine with that. FFIV should do well as well... however with Elder Scrolls Online - you will probably run into issues there, it's a very CPU demanding game.

You can definately play COD ghosts on ultra, however i will suggest a bit lower AA or a little bit of overclocking to achieve 40 fps

    Have a look here,
    NVIDIA GeForce GTX 770M - NotebookCheck.net Tech

This should help you determine the ability of 770m, however they benchmark at ultra with 4x MSAA in most of the games which i believe is quiet useless at 1080p, i prefer 2x MSAA, so you should get higher fps then stated there, and as you will overclock, that will improve furthur.

Or you can ditch MSAA and use FXAA/SMAA for more fps.

I can run elder scrolls online with a 675M with everything I can find cranked up with no problem so far. It is beta so that may change so take any comment about ESO with the knowledge that it could change.

If it makes you feel any better, you're not missing much right now. The game's beta label is pretty much accurate to a tee, other than the character creation, there's not really much to do. Combat feels a bit jumpy and disconnected; definitely needs more work.

This is an EA game, so I wouldn't expect miracles. Partially working game for the next year likely.

EA? It's Zenimax online studios.. EA has nothing to do with it.

I didn't bother to check fps. I go by the feels I don't need to know a number.
