Yesterday I went out and purchased a not so expensive laptop I could use for school and light gaming like league of legends and such. I bought it from Futureshop.

    Toshiba Satellite S50D 15.6" Laptop (AMD A10-5745M/ 1TB HDD/ 8GB RAM/ Windows 8) - Silver : 15" Laptops - Future Shop

For the price I think I got a pretty good laptop, my questions are how do i know when it using dedicated graphics or the apu, I want to have my game running on dedicated and according to gpu-z im using dynamic and its showing 0mb for dedicated. and also while I run league my gpu temperature is said to be 106c or so... is this normal and should it be that high or could it be reading something wrong.

    Thanks

EDIT: Just installed speedfan and its showing a completely diff temp reading and its showing it at around 50 or so... hmm :S

106 C is really2 high. I think GPU will start to lower their clock speed when the temp reach 100C +-. Mine never get past 97. So it seems like a false reading.
Try using HWmonitor. and 50C seems like it is working
