What kind of laptop do you have?
What kind of GPU?
What drivers do you currently have installed?
Honestly I could sooner say change your background to fix the problem faster than I could recommend a solid viable solution.
However, just uninstall your current drivers using driver sweeper, run ccleaner, reboot and reinstall your "PC's" most up to date OFFICAL driver.
Good luck.
