The laptop could easily host a 32 man server. It's going to depend strongly on your internet connection and how much you know about hosting (correct settings etc). 24.x.x.x....is your ISP Comcast?

my isp is optimum online (i think lol).. Anyway, i have cable T1 connection.. But my laptop is connected to the network via wireless connection (i got linksys 54mpbs router).

32 man server? wow thats pretty sweet. What if i was running CSS on the same laptop while running the server in the background ? would that have a lot of impact?

nah.. keep maximum players to 20 initially .....and close all useless background programs...i used to host CZ server on WAN (wide-area network)....it used to lagg when i myself played more than 1 hr...u shud be more worried about RAM as laptop RAM is squeezed into the slots & lot of heat builts up...it can cause system to overheat & Core temp to reach threshold

Tip: Notebook cooler STRONGLY recommended... Running a server really really heats up the RAM...
