    turning off graphics card

    I was wondering if it is possible to shut off my sager np2090's graphics card, so i can save battery power during my flight.

    You can disable it in the device manager.

    If you turned off your graphics card there would be nothing on your screen.

    Your graphics card automatically clocks down when on battery power.

    if you have vista and you want to save battery do the following steps.
    defrag your hard drive. this makes the hard drive spin less so you can save battery.
    under power options set it to power saver or better yet balance. with eist this is a big difference in performance.
    turn the brightness down.
    set your hard drive to turn off in 2 min.
    and i cant think of anything esle.
    dont worry about the grahpics card as usapatriot said it will clock down itself. and power mizer will take of your wireless, usb, etc.
