Usually people just put desktops toghether from parts, that way you get much better performance for the price.

you might have to visit http://forum.desktopreview.com/

What io meant was , for it to run cool , u need to tweak it a lot... if u want to save urself the effort , then u shouldn't get the ASUS G50,51...

Cyberpower is a reseller so it depends on what specs ur laptop has... if ur willing to spend $1.5K , get the ASUS G73H... it comes with core i7 quad , ATI 5870 card which is most powerful single GPU and also has DirectX 11.0... , also has blue ray , 8GB RAM and Subwoofer... if ur willing to spend the cash now , u won't have to upgrade after 2 years... this should be decent for 3 years or more.... if u bought a G60 , it would become old in 2 years and u would need to upgrade... also runs hot... G73 seems not to have that many heat problems as G60 or G51.... up to u now...

depends on what u want... if u want portability , it will cost u more... a desktop will be cheaper but u'd be better off building it urself...
