    Why don't you try

    1) The official "Can My Notebook Run It?" thread (look for it - it should be one with a LOT of replies. Pretty hueg thread).
    2) System Requirements Lab (google it).

    Quake 4 - Medium details, 1024x768 - fps 20-25, 10 in high action areas

Guild wars - Max details, 1280x800 - havent bothered with fps but very smooth gameplay.

Dawn of war - Max details, 1024x768 - fps 20-25

Unreal Tournament 2004 - max details, 1280x800 - dont know FPS but very smooth, no slowdowns

Half Life 2 - max details, 1280x800 (no advanced effects e.g. HDR) fps 20-30

MAke sure you use the 174.16 driver, it has given me the best performance. I have also started to overclock my GPU to get extra performance FYI stock 350/700 i use 430/850 OC w/ ATItool.
