just out of curiousity, how hard is it to upgrade a laptop in terms of RAM or the video card? i heard that it is not a good idea to upgrade or replace teh video card because it works directly for the chipset you have in your lappy... im just wondering because in a year or so i'd rather get a new video card then a new laptop ;p
any comments are appreciated - thanks.

upgrading RAM is really easy
upgrading a video card is impossible for most laptops, there are a few that can be upgraded but i think you need to soldier and stuff like that -

The RAM, HDDs and CPU's are easiest to upgrade.. although upgrading the CPU voids your warranty.. The GPU is either not upgradeable, or a real pain to.. Unless it is specifically a user upgradeable card, such as in the Asus C90.. These ones are MXM slot cards, usually... Upgrading the card is also possible in some dells, although it's got severe limitations..
