    im on a intergrated 3D graphics,featuring Intel graphics media accelerator
    (GMA) 950,UP TO 224MB OFshared system memory,supporting microsoft
    directx 9.0,dual independent display
    (for aspire 3680) is it possible to upgrade my graphics.Im on vista home basic and i want a 256 mb graphics upgrade can this be done.

    Its not possible to upgrade integrated graphics cards. Almost all notebooks do not support upgradeable graphics cards. Only a small prcentage of manufacturers build their notebooks with upgradeability in mind, and even those have certain criteria they have to fit into.

    You would've known the answer to your question if you only had read that thread titled in big letters "READ HERE ABOUT UPGRADING YOUR VIDEO CARD".

    Guess people are just plain lazy.

    This is so often the case these days on the forums. People also don't bother to do a simple search either, when most of the time doing a quick search would answer their question!
