    hey guys,

I just bought a Toshiba A100-TA7...it is a great omputer but I jsut have one question. Certain games that I play do not run properly even though the specs are sufficeint due to not having a good graphics card (I have the integrated Intel). What I want to know is how can I upgrade my card, I know that it is limited because it is a laptop but I still want to see what I can do. I have a slot at the side of my laptop which I hear is a PCIMA card slot or somehting like that. So how can I do this? and where can I find graphics cards?

    Thank You

***SORRY ABOUT THE DOUBLE POST, I DID NOT SEE THIS FORUM UNTIL AFTER I POSTED THE FIRST TIME BUT EITHER WAY, BOTH POSTS ARE IN THE RIGHT FORUMS***

It's basically impossible to upgrade the video card on a laptop. There are MXM cards that are supposed to be exchangeable. A vid card through PCMCIA won't fair much better than integrated graphics (I believe, correct me if I'm wrong, the data transfer speed isn't high enough).

You will not be able to upgrade your video card. Unfortunately you are stuck with the Intel Integrated Card. You'll need a new computer if you want to up your graphical-hp. Check out the GPU guide for more information.
