three problems so far with various games bought from steam.
so far im having problems with FarCry (original), Attack on Pearl Harbour and Tom Clancys Rainbow Six Vegas (original)
FarCry
when trying to log into multiplayer mode it asks for user name and password. sometimes this works and sometimes it fails. finally after it does let me in it then asks for CD Key which shows in steam pop up window in bottom right corner. after entering it it says invalid cd key please re enter.
ive tried in all variations using capitols, lower case, with/without - between but none works Arghh!!![]()
secondly multiplayer in attack on pearl harbour.
bought attack on pearl harbour from steam the other day but have only ever been able to play twice on multiplayer.
it shows various servers to join that has players already there and it seems to load fine but as soon as the game starts if you look in the players list its empty and then error connecting to server appears within 5 seconds. close that box and go back to menu and the server is still there with the players in it.
at first i thought it could be my avg pro firewall but then if it was how could i play a couple of times in the past without any problems. single player is fine.
finally tom clancys rainbow six vegas (original)
game starts to load and then freezes on load screen with music still playing.
(this problem has now been fixed but heres the fix just in case it affects anyone else).
Turning off the steam overlay in Steam: File > Settings > In-Game > uncheck 'Enable Steam Community In-Game'.
game plays perfectly now.
any ideas would be greatly appreciated with the other 2 problems..

Did you buy them on steam or buy them separately and add them in?
