    Basically wth are these terms and exactly what do they do and how do you do them? I keep hearing people talk about them but i have no idea what they do

    vBios - video bios - it refers to the bios of a gfx card
    bios - mainly refers to the bios of a motherboard.

    BIOS stands for Basic Input Output System. It is code contained in a chip on the motherboard that is run when the computer is powered on. It performs the Power On Self Tests (POST) and executes the operating system and hands control over to it.

    The VBIOS is similar, but it controls the way software interfaces with the video adapter.

    To "flash" a BIOS or VBIOS essentially means to copy BIOS code over to the memory in which the BIOS is stored. Flashing a new BIOS overwrites the old one with the new one.
