hi, i've been having some trouble with cod uo and vista. When ever i let my laptop enter sleep mode after playing united offense, the game crashes when i try to start it up again later.

I get this message saying "Call of Duty did not quit properly" after i try to start it after waking my laptop up. The message gives me the option of entering safemode to try and play the game but either way it doesn't start and i get an error saying "coduomp.exe" has stopped working. Then I have to reinstall.

Is there anyway to fix this without disabling sleep mode?

It sounds like COD:UO did not quit properly before you put your laptop to sleep. After you quit the game, is there anything in the task manager still related to COD?

Nope, the game always seems to have quit properly. If I start up the game again before vista starts sleep mode I don't get the error either.
