Start with the settings on very low, and work your way up until the frame rate is at the lowest you are comfortable with.

    Hope this helps

First of all welcome to notebook review; everyone’s glad to help you out with your notebook needs.

I advise you to install the latest Nvidia drivers (for your graphics) at www.laptopvideo2go.com/

Go to Control Panel/Power Options and make sure your power plan is on High Performance and your notebook plugged into the wall. Now you can right click on properties and go to theme and change your theme from Windows Vista to Windows Classic while gaming; this will slightly improve your gaming. Also make sure you exit Sidebar while gaming as its just useless and taking system process.
I’m sure others have a lot of other suggestions to add in particular to the resolution, but I don’t own a laptop with the Geforce 8600M GT so I can’t help you on that department. Best of luck to you.

Holy crap, 3070 Gb of ram. Nasa cannot compete with that.

Vista is jerky, that`s because it`s still in its infant stages.SP1 should help fix that to a degree.
