    I am currently using a vostro 1500, 160gb hdd, 3gb ram,8600m gt, T7300

The problem is when i play games eg. COD4, Oblivion

The computer freezes up for maybe a minute before resuming time between freezes also varies,
I have run I8kfan and the gpu reaches temps of only 62 and the cpu reaches temps of 72 got latest drivers and BIOS.

Is there anything that i can do to fix this?

I haven't tried the latest and greatest, but 174.74 drivers were poo for me.

I keep going back to 169.25...solid, steady, and OC'able if you wish.
