After much searching, I can't seem to find an answer.
Is it possible to remove the 8600m gt from my dell vostro 1500 and use the integrated x3100 instead?
I know this is an odd question for this forum.
Thanks,
Abrahm

Um, no; most graphics cards on laptops are integrated into the motherboard unless its MXM which i dont think the Vostro is.

You would need to swap motherboards with one that includes the integrated chip. If you want to swap the 8600 for the less power using 8400, i might be able to work out an even trade.
