It's a simulator, not an arcade game. It follows actual, real life physics.

A joystick is pretty much required for a flight simulator. Try turning down the sensitivity.

Well do you have any experience at playing on flight simulators? Hmm... that might explain why.

Yes I think that is the problem. Pushing a key means you're always pushing it to the max amount every time you touch it, however you can gently tilt the stick a bit for a much lighter turn, giving you much more control.

i dont know know to much about the game but cant you use the mouse instead. or you can use xpadder and if you have a game controller you can make the game think your controller is the keyboard.

    i did this for cod4 ut3 painkiller overdose,etc

Flight Sim takes some real dedication to play. If you can call it playing. Never liked it.

Just tweak your controls. That probably it. But its a complex sim with tons of controls.

You can play with the mouse. It's called "Flight Simulator" for a reason. It's not an arcade game, however I think there is a way to turn on simple controls and physics. But then, what's the point?

When all else fails RTFM---especially the part about "trim"

FWIW, with enough practice, you can control some planes by trim alone. In FS2002, I once flew a 747 from O'Hare to Heathrow (including takeoff and landing) without ever touching the stick--or arrow keys in your case.

Why the hell would you put a controller on your PC to play those games?

Go buy a console. That completely defeats the advantage you get on the PC by bringing it down to the console level.

lol QFT. PC has the best FPS setup and he just killed it. He must really suck bad online if he's using a controller, haha.

For those games that is true, but certain games ported to PC just fail with their control scheme.

I.E. Bioshock was much more intuitive with a controller than a mouse and keyboard. I also expect any platformer to work out better with a controller. In other words, unless they REALLY pulled off a miracle, Assassin's Creed will work more intuitively with a controller.

But for the most part, PC controls are quite good.
