what are some Epic must have pc games for 10 bucks???

Fallout 2, DRM free, garunteed to run on Vista... picked it up for 6 dollars a few days ago. Never played it before, but so far it's a fun RPG. I'm playing preemptively to Fallout 3

Also Red Alert 2, which is *the best RTS ever IMO* if you can find it - I saw it used for 5 dollars years ago.

(Are you interested in older games? I see all newer games up there, but what can you ask for for 10 bucks?)

Another big YES for www.gog.com. I bought Fallout 1, a package of Descent 1 and 2 sold as one, Citizen Kabuto, and Jagged Alliance 2 for 6 bucks each. I'll get Fallout 2 later.

These are great games. Fallout 1 is working great on my Vista 64 computer. GOG programs install packages so you don't have to mess with config files and such to play old titles. Couldn't be happier with getting these old classics.

Red Alert 2 was free to download a few weeks ago.

 

I heard that EA finally let RA2 be a free game or not, didn't know it was true all I heard was that they are letting cracked copies play online now as the official servers have been taken down and community run servers are now used. Still probably my favorite game of all time.

 

If you put down $5 and pre-order Red Alert 3 at Gamestop, you will receive a free copy of Red Alert 2.

 

Really? I though it was Red Alert 1 they were giving away.
