The 7800GTX will blow out the 7800Go...clock speeds are different and I believe the GTX has more pipelines.

The 7800Go can be overclocked, but will still not perform as well as the GTX granted it is still a great card. :)

There are specs for them both at the bottom of this page:
    http://www.nvidia.com/page/go_7800gtx.html

The number of pixel pipelines is also different. I belive the Go7800 has 16, while the Go7800GTX has 24.

But, the Go7800GTX performs signifigantly better than the Go7800, and as USAFdude said, even overclocked, the Go7800 doesn't come close to the Go7800GTX.

Thanks Guys :) , looks like a good OC would gain a lot of lost ground, at least to the point where the Go 7800 will play games reasonably well. I do a lot of Virtual PC and the Dual Core will really shine when running several VPC sessions.

    Tech,

the 7800 does better than "resonably" well. While not as potent as the 7800GTX, it still pulls 120+ FPS in HL:2 at 1440x900 with all settings maxed, AAx2, AFx4.

I'm also a bigtime BF2 gamer, and I get 90+ FPS with all settings maxed....50-70FPS with AAx2. It also plays the newer, more graphics intensive games like F.E.A.R. with no problems.

Also, if you own a Dell, they give the GPUs a fairly gratuitous (sp?) underclock...coolbits can be used to help alleviate that problem as well.....I've pulled almost 6000 in 3DMark05 with the Go 7800.
