I have a x1400 in my e1505 and I was woundering what sort of games I can expect to play. What would be the most intense(if this is th right word) game that I could play without experiencing lag or choppy grapics?
I await you replies and I thank all who reply in advance.

If you tone down the settings to low or medium you should be able to play any game ok.

Far Cry, Unreal Tournament 2004, Half Life 2, all these titles and similar ones from 2003/2004-ish, between a mix of coding efficency and old tech, should run at high no problems on an x1400.

NFS will run fine too, mayeb not at the highest resolution but it'll be fine.
As far for FPS yo can can play almost everithing, just that the lastest ones will run on med an maybe at 800x600. If you like for RTS all of those will run fine. -
FEAR medium at 1024x768, runs great!

NFS:MW will suffer abit. The x1300/1400 only has 4 pipelines making games that have heavy use of shaders and multi texturing (normal maps and all that, a single visual texture these days is actually made up of 4+ textures) can come crashing down hard. Oblivion is over the limits, requiring significant scaling down of the eye candy.

The X1400 has 3 weaknesses on new games. Anti-Analyzing, Shadows, and High Resolutions. Make sure u run a new game on 800x600 and shadows, AA off and the rest all in high setting and the game should run great. Tested it on Call of Juarez, Dark Messiah, Hitman Blood Money, and Just Cause. Oblivion, However is a special case, u need to lower the resolution to 640x480 to make it run at a decent frame rate. Older games such has Half-Life 2 Doom can run great on a 1024x768 with high settings.
