Well, GeForce Go 7300 is budget card (from the low end). It is not for heavy 3d tasks.

There are card optimized for 3D design (AutoCAD, 3D Studio Max, Maya ...) like these from Ati Fire GL series. But they usually come with mobile workstations (ThinkPad T60p) which are expensive.

Actually, GeForce Go 7300 is not enough for gaming too. You will have problems with playing the current games fluently.

And Lenovo 3000 N100 is a budget laptop (it’s reviewed here), don’t expect amazing performance, if you think you have good price take it, otherwise look for better option (Dell, Toshiba). I wouldn’t recommend Lenovo 3000 Series.

it will handle Autocadd, but when you get into 3d stuff it may lag when rendering. Now I can open a 3d cad drawing and do basic edits on an IGP, but if Im doing heavy stuff I will want my x1600 or the quadros at work.

There are surely better systems out there but I've done 3d Cad and CNC transfers on a Pentium III with a 32 meg card and it did ok. It's just like the gaming side, how much detail and how fast do you want it?

I run autocad 2002 on my P4 1.5 GHz desktop with an old geforce 2 GT reasonably well enough - I imagine you'd have to be rendering some serious images with yours to find the 7300 lacking.
