i am thinking of getting a dell xps 16" laptop and i was wondering what games i could play on it. more specifically i was wondering if it would be able to handle age of empires 3.

    specs:
    intel core 2 duo 2.4ghz
    4 gb ram
vista home premium 64bit (does this make a difference)
512MB ATI Mobility Radeon HD 3670

i will probably only be playing warcraft 3 and hopefully age of empires 3 on it

That laptop should run Age of Empires 3 fine - I managed to make it work on an Intel X3100 - and to all the ones who say it doens't work - it does.

    By the way:
The 64Bit - check with the game.
If the game is 64Bit it'll run better, if its 32Bit it may run the as well or worse than on a 32Bit OS.

Search the forums a bit on 64Bit vs. 32Bit - there must be at least 10+ threads on that question...
