    specs are as follows

    t5450
    3gb ram
    9500m gs
    1gb turbo mem
    vista home premium 32

mainly refering to the video drivers... anyone know the best options? just got the notebook yesterday (asus f8sn-a1) and have had little problems. the games i play max out just fine @ 1280x800, with a hiccup here or there, but i think it is due to the 5400rpm hard drive... maybe driver related though... that would be easier, cause the 200gb travelstar i ordered wont arrive til monday.
so again, just to clarify, i really just want to know what drivers you guys think i should run with the 9500m gs. thanks :D

Use either the 174.16 drivers or the 174.31 from www.laptopvideo2go.com
Go into Forums and then the appropriate link.

    tried 174.31.... actually lowered performance...
dont know what stock drivers were...
gonna try .16 and see if i get a boost.
i mean, out of nowhere my css performance is now like 45fps avg @ 1280x800 4aa 4af all maxed, but same settings for tf2 produce like 50-60 fps... hmmm
