You cant upgrade a laptops graphics card and you especially cant put a desktop PC's graphics card in.
If that isnt what you meant, I'm sorry. Could you please rephrase it? -
Laptop wise if its HL2 etc and simialr games an X1400 but nto full whack if you want lots of eye candy then its top models your looking at.
Desktop pc wise 7600GT or an X1950PRO better you to last a 7900GTX ATi X1900XTX -

can those card realy play the games at the highest setting? on 1920x1200 reselution?? -
i'd guess that more than resolution it matters if you put antialiasing (AA) on.
my guess is that those cards will work fine on 1920x1200, but with AA off...
but let's see what others, who tested it, say... -

I have seen a 7950GTX FOR 350 bucks at Fry's. I think it was a one time thing though.

I have a 7600gt and it plays hl2 and quake4 maxed out no poblem... but i also run them in 1024x768 resolution.. if you do that in like 1920x1200 with all the aa and af and FSAA and get atleast 60 fps then you would need a better card
what gpu can play these games
