    From best to worst, 8800GTX, GT 300M, 6600GT.

    Of the two laptops you linked, the first one will be the better performer.

    So the second one would be good for school and be able to run sc 2 smoothly?

    It most likely won't run diablo 3 when it comes out huh?

    The second would definitely be more practical for school due to its smaller size. The GT330M should perform just fine for SC2 and D3, although you may have to compromise on some eye candy.

    By the way, I totally meant the first one would be better for games...sorry for being completely backwards. :p

    6600GT!? That's a dinosaur! Pretty durn weak by today's standards.

    In any case, the GT330m should run SC2 at medium-high settings smoothly (medium with a handful of settings on high), and will almost certainly be able to run Diablo 3 well above minimum settings.

    The HD5650 would be a fair bit better than the GT330m, but I'd imagine the i3-350m would slow your SC2 down.
