    what is most important, HD, CPU, or GPU temperature?

    hi. i just bought a laptop notebook (thanks to many who recommend them on this forum.) i am not sure exactly what this is supposed to be cooling. what is the most important for gaming to make sure it's cool?

    i ask because i am not sure what program i'm supposed to get to monitor my notebook temperature, HD gpu or CPU monitoring program. thanks!

    also could you please recommend a program?

    i believe its the GPU temp, especially when overclocking. Rivatuner 1.06 can be used to overclock and monitor temps

    I'd say HD temps.

    If CPU or GPU overheats, you crash. Then you can wait 2 minutes, reboot and you're fine again.

    If the HD gets too hot, its lifespan is seriously shortened, and you end up losing all your data.

    Other than that, your question just doesn't make much sense. For gaming it's important to have a working computer. That means ensuring that *all* temperatures are acceptable.

    Which is most important? That a car has fuel or wheels?
