    What is the difference between 8800m GTX and 8800 GTX?

    i want to buy m15x to play crysis on high settings...

    8800m gtx is based on the desktop 8800gt and it is designed for use in laptops.

    It is the best single (or dual) gpu for any laptop.

    notebook gpus are about 20% slower than their desktop counterparts

    hope you're not buying a new notebook just to play crysis... it's not that great.

    i know these games have not come out yet... but what about games like Huxley or Warhammer online... with a 8800gtx notebook

    An 8800m GTX is the most powerful laptop video card.
    An 8800 GTX is the most powerful desktop video card.

    The inclusion of the 'm' means 'mobile'

    Also, an 8800m GTX will perform like an 8800 GTS (Desktop).

    I knew the 8800m performance was good but I've seen some OC'd GTS' beat my GTX in 3dMark06!

    Actually i think you'll find that the 8800 Ultra is more powerful.

    Ultra is an 8800GTX overclocked one, so yeah the 8800GTX is the fastest out there :)
