    what is the problem in my vga?plz

    hi...
    I have Fujitsu Siemens AMILO M1437G...
    suddenly, it dosn't work. i have brought it to the place i have bought from and he says that the vga had damaged
    and it will cost about 530 $.
    then i search about it and i found this picture about my vga

    (it is exactly like that)
    so , my question is :
    where is the problem? in this piece? [​IMG](35$) and how i can raplace it?
    or in the whole card (530$)?!
    plz answer me?

    What's the preliminary diagnostic?

    Does it turn on?
    Do you hear the HD spinning?
    Do you have any GUI booting screen?

    thanx bodies for quick response
    after the gui booting..black screen appears. Therefore, I can't work on the opearating system

    I hope this is enough info

    Did you try doing a repair install or something of Windows? If you are getting to the Windows boot screen then getting a black screen, it seems like a software problem to me. I think that guy is trying to fleece you big time.

    I'II try to format the notebook and tells you what happens later ...

    BTW: the place i have gone for repairing the notebook, is the commission for Fujitsu in my region

    Did he give you any reason why he thought it was the GPU? It just seems like about the last thing that could be the problem. Also, I can't help but notice that looks like a Mac interface, and the window says Boot Camp. Why is that?

    sorry for leaving this topic left off....i got busy with personal issues i worked out
    anyway,, sirmetman
    i dunno why he though the gpu is the problem...never mind the mac interface...i have windows but posted this image to make clear the screen is okay till this logo(which is titlted to the left BTW),,, then all i see is black screen and repetitve restarts...
    i couldnt format nor repair the OS,,,the system keep repeating itself
    i forgot to mention that i got the notebook worked once ( i dunno how)...
    but the screen was smaller in size, titlted to lower left corner.. i hope this figure explains better
