    which laptop plays assassins creed best? msi gt627, gt725, or gateway p7811? benchmarks would be helpful

    Well from what I remember the GT725 has an Ati HD4850, which outclssses both Gateway FX 7811 and MSI GT627 a lot. The HD4850 fights it out vs the 9800M GTX, so the others don't stand a chance.

    I play on a GT725 (the 074us version) and get about 35fps with settings completely maxed out at 1680x1050... i think any of them would play fine though.

    anything modern midrange and up can play assassin's creed...

    Yea both of the laptops listed can easily max it most likely, but the 4850 really does outclass the 9800m GTS.

    I've ran it with a 7000m geforce at low settings, which is an awful card. So any of those should do fine.
