hey i am looking into a laptop and will be doing a little gaming not much but, anyways i dont know if i should get the on with geforce 7150m or the geforce 8400 gs, i know that everyones gonna say the 8400 gs but i won't be doing lots of gaming and i can get the 7150 for alot cheaper.

Which games will you be playing?
7150 is an integrated video card compared to the 8400gs which is a dedicated one. The price difference will suffice for it. -
i will probably be playing some old games maybe bf2142 or such maybe guild wars. i will also try to get the one with the 8400 gs if i can find a good deal.

bf2142 isnt an old game and wont run on ur 8400 at anything above low settings lol

ok thanks lol just asking but has anyone seen a 8400m gs play crysis because i would really like to know how it is from someone that really has tried it...
-
Don't know about Crysis. I saw a 6800 Go play it on low settings, low resolution decently. Don't know how these compare though...

I don't know about Crysis, either, but if you're thinking of BF2142 and Crysis you should definitely go for the 8400 GS over the 7150M. There comes a point where a game won't run at all - or at least not more than 5 FPS - on certain cards, and with the 7150M you've probably hit that point with at least Crysis if not BF2142 as well. 8400M GS might play Crysis at low settings and a low resolution (640x480 maybe) decently, but even then you're really stretching that game. It's by far the most demanding game out there today.
BF2142 isn't exactly an old game, either - it's the newest Battlefield game. Not that it won't play on the 8400M GS - it will - but if you plan on getting newer games anytime soon you'll have to either get a better card now or upgrade your system fairly soon. -
bottomline is that if you are even remotely thinking of playing games, DO NOT get integrated graphics cards.
what to get???
