    Ive heard that you can boost the performance of your GFX card by installing the omega drivers but how exactly can they do this?

    Why dont the drivers from the manufacturer offer the same performance? Do the omega drivers automatically overclock the GFX card which equates to a performance increase? Surely that decreases the life of the card?

    Omega drivers offer tweeks and fixes to the official drivers that will improve performance. They do not overclock by default, but do have the option. Oddly enough, the latest version downclocked my card SLIGHTLY (few mhz on core and memory) and I'm getting slightly better benchmark scores like that.
