A bunch of games here too, if you want recommendations, you're gonna have to list genres you like.

Of course with some of the insane Steam holiday sales you can buy like 80 games for $100.

I have ~100 [20 of which are humble bundle games].

After all that, I'll say my fav game is TF2, which is FREE :(

Yeah that is exactly how I got most of mine for example the Star Wars and Splinter Cell sales, had a lot of games for a really good price. The Splinter Cell ones all came with the most recent Splinter Cell game, other Tom Clancy games came in a large set as well. I have also abandoned physical media about the time BioShock 2 came out, over two years ago I think. Only get physical media if I have to for a collector's edition I am interested in. Looking at all the DVDs and CDs not to mention the crate of floppies at my parents house of games I have stored, plus a massive box filled with manuals and keys makes me think of dinosaur fossils. The end of physical media can't come soon enough.

I have a small amount, when small, I mean like 70 games. The more games I get, the more I slowly decline installing.

Oh wow somebody actually beat HT...

For me I have less than him but more than average, me and HT used to collect games like people collect pokemon :D

The sad thing is that easily 75% of my games I have never even PLAYED let alone beat...

Top of my head top 3.....

    Burnout Paradise Ultimate Box
    Beat Hazard Ultra
    Skyrim

Just 3 games that you can sink a lot of time & replay into.

Other great games on there that I like a lot but they are the play & beat kind of games that you never come back too, so no matter how well done games like that are they never make it to my top games list since the value is reduced with no replay.

Yeah my game purchases have really declined significantly in the last couple of years, but there are a large number that I haven't played, let alone finished. Many were impulse buys because they were so cheap. I figure $3-$5 for a cheap thrill isn't so expensive. Sometimes I'm surprised and get hooked. Although I probably end up spending over $100 before I find a "keeper".

Yep same, those sales were nice sometimes and while maybe I didn't have extra money floating around I found ways to budget it. I'd say I have not gotten but one maybe 2 things in the last 2 years from the major sale events though so I managed to break the habit.

Part due to funds, part due to seeing how many games I need to play, and part because the sales just did not seem as good.

I am more prone now to find games I want or am looking for and waiting for a sale for that one game rather than just window shopping sales and grabbing what looks pretty.

I havent bought a game in a while for similiar reasons. Ive found ive now bought the major ones i want and just need to play them now. As im not appreciating each game like i should. So i aim to play nearly every game i have atleast once before i buy another.

I have around 60 games on Steam, though tragically have only completed around 6 so far (rampant impulse buys during sales before I can actually playthrough them all!). I will get round to completing them all eventually.

My favourite will forever be (well, until HL3 at least) Half Life 2 & it's Episodes.

I wait for sales. I got recently Bastion for $7.50 along with 5 other indie games. Picked up Saint Row 3 for $13. I do same as Vicious, I'll keep up to date on games and just wait for the sales.

And now I NEVER PRE-Order games.

    My steam games

I haven't played almost 70% from that list. My top "time-sucking" are:

    - Terraria
    - Killing Floor
    - King's Bounty series

Also I must recommend Batman:AA and Deus Ex:HR.
