Low end DX10 mobile cards are supposedly here, (ATIx2300) availability will be tight for awhile I suspect. Performance DX10 mobile cards will be awhile, I suspect mid to late Q3, thats just a guess.

i know g8800 is out, but im talking about mobile dx10 cards. what low end dx10 is out already. i dont know of any laptop with a dx10 in it as of today. the asus a8jr was announced but no release day was put out. also im not looking at any high end card but midrange like a 7600 or x1600 which would be an 8600 or x2600. ill get an high end for my desktop when i return.

I would suggest waiting till about 3 weeks before you leave and see whats available. thats what I did before my unit deployed last august. got a great deal on a dell E1705.

i just saw that ati will be releasing there dx10 cards in april but i think its just the desktop versions. i know dell are usually the only ppls that let you upgrade the video cards i wonder it that will be and option because im leaning towards e1705.
