    well the question is in the title, the fx1600m just isnt cutting it for playing most games at 1440*900.

    I was thinking about asking dell but I know they will want best part of £300 and then probably some more for labour and then yet more for shipping.

    I am not too sure if the M6300 offers MXM Modulated GFX cards...

    Meaning, it cant be easily switched out for another card...

    cant see anything on ebay.

    its not a mxm module but both the fx3600m & fx1600m are available in the laptop so they are deffinatly interchangeable. The m6300 online manual also shows you how to remove the graphics
