    hello, I have a dell 9400 with a ati x1400, I want to know if I can change the x1400 for a ati x1600 with no problem? if yes who sell it? how much?

    not right away at least...
    right now E1505 only comes with X-1400... but if later dell come up with new gpu on E1505 probably you can upgrade it with the newer and better card..
    that is if you can find a place to get it..
    I dont think dell sold the graphic card in seperate with the laptop.. cmiw..

    wrong. That notebook can be upgraded

    However, Dell have not released an X1600 for their inspiron laptops yet

    And i think the BIOS still does not support other videocards except the ones configured with the system.

    A hacked BIOS would allow you to put in another card, even a 7800GTX with some slight modding of the case.

    If Dell ever releases it, that way it won't void your warranty. You can call them and talk to them about it.
