    which graphics card is better and why?

    512 nvidia geforce 9500M gs (in an asus)
    or
    256 geforce 9300m GS (with up 2 512 turbo cache? whatever that means). thats in a sager.
    i the rest of the specs are the same but i kinda trust asus more since i have atleast heard of them.

    9500M is better, because it got higher number

    While in this case the higher number is better thing is true, you should be more concerned about the last 3 numbers of the card than you should about the first. For instance, the 7900 GTX is still better than the 9500 GS. Also, Sager is a very reputable company, and in particular, Powernotebooks and XoticPC have shown themselves to be very trustworthy resellers of Sager notebooks, so if you do decide to go with the Sager, I encourage you to go to one of their sites.

    is the nvidia GS the card that will overheat down the road?
