    im thinking l4d and a headset or do you need a hedset in that game?

    yes, you do need a head set for left 4 dead, or your just going to get killed every 5 sec's

    maby getting a headset would be good becuase it would help me in bf2

    Yes, a headset is very important for CSS as well. (footsteps mainly) You could probably get by without communication though.

    only if u plan on competitive play for CS:Source, where you need to here dinking nades off walls, and random footsteps, stuff like that.

    yeah, you don't NEED a headset in CS:S unless you plan on playing competitively.

    as for L4D, you dont need a headset at all, but a mic is nice for communication because there is only 4 of you together

    get both games and a cheap mic. just use any old headset and it will work fine

    i think mi going to get l4d and ccs becuase i becuase i cant get my usb microphone to work well i dont know how and i dont think im going to have much better luck with a new 1. ill just use earphones to listen for footsteps and stuff in css and i can type in l4d
