shadow of chernobyl or clear sky ?

the former has a metacritic score but clear sky is the sequal? also does clear sky have a more brutal difficulty and waht about the number of bugs in both titles?

    Shadow of Chernobyl was first
Clear Sky is newer but is a prequel to the story of Shadow of Chernobyl
games are simmilar ( same engine ) you even visit some same locations in both titles
I suggest you get Clear Sky since it tells you story before Shadow of Chernobyl

I only have the first one, Shadow of Chernobyl. Regarding the bugs: after the patches you should not have any major problems with bugs or any kind.

    I hope this helps.

I have Shadow of Chernobyl as well, and with the latest patch it's pretty bug free. I haven't played Clear Sky, so I can't compare it with that.

Shadow of Chernobyl is better but Clear Sky is more impressive since it's got a whole host of new features. However, only a computer of a beast will tame Clear Sky in DX10 mode. Honestly I'd go for either one, but the first one really is the most scary and suspenseful hence why I'd choose that one, but I really like Clear Sky despite the performance issues.

Get both. Since Shadow of Chernobyl is cheaper, start with that, then when Steam puts Clear Sky on sale, then buy that.

clear sky's factions are pretty messed up, along with most of their other features. If they work for you, they're great but if they don't you're pretty done for.
