just wondering if css ran fast on direct X9 for you guys, caus it freezes for me. thanks, or does anyone have a worse graphics card and have a good game performance

also i have to play this game in dx7 :( but thats ok if i put texture settings up. when i first turn css on the quality is alwayas on low for everything, even if i hit apply and wxit the game, the quality still goes down to low.
can a cfg auto load the settings to run good quality so i dont have to set this eachy time?

You mean X1400 128mb dedicated. 512mb only with hypermemory.

CS:S should run perfectly in DX9 mode on an X1400, it is plenty powerful enough. Make sure "Color Correction" is off (useless, makes no tangible difference), and turn off the Anti-Aliasing.

I'm sure it runs very good on a x1400, I have the card and plays very well on high settings.

yes, my drivers are updated, i cannot turn off Anti-Aliasing in catalyst control, yet i can turn it off in game. I can do 2x Anti-Aliasing(or higher) , I can do some temproal Anti-Aliasing, or i can let the app. decide. and color correction i can change in css opitions
can you guys tell me the best option please thanks
