crumple horned snorcack got to ur laptop gfx card it seems. actually that might be a driver issue. i'm not an expert on 'em, but i've read on laptopvideo2go and the tutorials here that they do driver updates cause of one driver not working w/ a game or something. try updating ur drivers, or if u have, go down a few notches on ur driver, like instead of the 160's use the 150's.

Check for patches for the game. If you are running the game on Vista you'll want to check if there are any compatibility issues.

Update windows, Update your V.Card Driver, Update Farcry. Run CCleaner and check for registry errors. If all those don't work uninstall Farcry and reinstall it.

I cant get it working either. Tried every driver there is. All I get is grey textures that flicker.

It could well be simply Vista hates games released more than a very short time ago. Far Cry works in Vista Home Premium for me until the 3rd leve, then it crashes no matter WHAT I try.
