I'm not a big game player and the only few I have are first person shooter games, but what type of game is this warcraft 3?

Please excuse my lack of gaming knowledge, at my age this is all very new to me.

Also, what good first person shooter games will perform on my Dell 6000 64MB video card?

WarCraft III is a 3D RTS (Real-time Strategy) game from about 3.5 years ago. The official website is located here.

As for your second question, it has already been answered here. Basically, just about any FPS can be run on your system at lower graphics settings and and resolutions.
