Btw.. My question is : Are u really even interested? .. after reading this i am convinced i ll build myself a Gaming Desktop & Keep normal 8400M GS laptop for Casual Gaming. PERIOD!

I would not.

thats not quite the "ultimate gaming laptop"
id take one 8800m gtx over 8700m gt sli -
The only thing this laptop will do is attract Gamers into the Computer shops to try it out.
and then while going back home maybe they ll buy a Game or Two. ..
this laptop can be used just like Japanese babes at the Car Shows. -
You can pay less than $4000 for a faster notebook....

MICHAELSD01 Apple/Alienware Master
That's available in the US with dual 8800M GTXs and a 2.4GHz Penryn Core 2 Duo for $3050 after a $400 off coupon ($400 off M1730 rigs over $3000). BTW, it's been available in the US since the third quarter of last year.
-
i will not pay for that laptop at all. I can buy a used car for the same price or pay three quarter of school with that money.
-
MSI GX600 is also a better alternative.. even though it has 8600M GT ... it has a dedicated button for instant OC
-
I wouldn't call that a laptop - that thing is humongous. The only way I could justify spending that much on a non upgradeable machine was if I lived in Antarctica and I loved gaming more than my job in the south pole.
-
absolutely not. if i wanted the ultimate gaming computer i would build a desktop. cheaper and you are able to upgrade it as technology advances
-
I don't think it is ultimate with an 8700m GT SLi
-
yeah that not even close to ultimate with the 8700's, neither is the MSI GX600 since it only has one 8600m GT, SLI 8800m GTX would be needed to be an ultimate gaming laptop
-
and as i say
You can't judge a graphic card by how it performs with Crysis.
Crysis is a concept game which was accidently launched too. ..the current hardware is too poor for that game. COD4 is what you should be really playing. -
a quad-core is ultimate... a dual-core is just good.
-
masterchef341 The guy from The Notebook
i didn't say anything about crysis, but i still know that dual 8800m gtx's is a different league than the 8700m gt sli.

ArmageddonAsh Mangekyo Sharingan
if it didnt have dell and XPS written all over it then it wouldnt be that bad looking they would just need to sort out the colour. but for thta price with only dual 8700's in it no thanx
