This thread makes me terribly disappointing with HP. My Envy 14 has stock clocks of 450/800 and the maximum overclock I can achieve is 520/900 at 1v.
They must have used the lowliest binned 5650s in existence :(

Well, to be fair, chips that reach lower clocks, tend to be the least leaky, so while it would not be very fast, it's more likely to run cooler.

it's pretty the same...3013sl...but we cant make nothing for now and probably nothing in future (for luck is a good gpu the little 5650 :) )...i'm secure that this is a bios lock and not a problem of crappy vga used by hp(same problem for hp much time ago with nvidia 8400m,impossible to o.c...i haved a asus with the same vga and can o.c to the limit of chip)...the good thing in my noteb are the temperature, that stay in a range of 64-69° with a temperature room of 28°...this a very good work in cooling architecture!

Does this work with other AMD GPUs?

The highest stable overclock for games using AMD Clock Tool on my 5830m is around 550/1100
