    wsop 2008 game: graphics flickering

    i recently purchased the world series of poker 2008: battle for the bracelets, and i installed it just fine. it required direct x 9 so i downloaded that and also installed it

    the game loads fine, and the videos play just fine, but the problem comes during gameplay. after about 20 seconds into gameplay, my game will freeze for about 2 seconds, and then all the graphics get distorted and start flickering. there are no error messages or anything

    i reinstalled the game, reinstalled direct x, and updated my graphics driver, but nothing has solved my problem. i've contacted support, but they're slow to respond. any ideas? i'll be eternally grateful :D

    bump anyone? i still get the problem. tried it on 16 bit settings, but problem still occurred
