    Hi,

i'm waiting to get my inspirion 6400 (e1505) with the x1400 and i'm thinking of overclocking

can anyone post their OCed x1400 results (core speed) with benchmarks and heat increase?

also, did you use powerstrip version 3.63.540

    Thanks

No, and I don't think the X1400 is very overclockable either. I heard the X1600's are very good at overclocking.

so the latest ati tool works with the x1400?

i heard there was some incompatability

also, i thought some peeps got their x1400 core speed to like 550/450 over stock 432/400

how much of a difference would that 550/450 make over 432/400?

    thank

yeah, i wish i could afford an x1600

hard to find them in canada and in 15.4 inch notebooks

i also heard they were battery killers

No, they aren't battery killers. X1600 notebooks are decent on battery life.

Yes the latest ATI tool works for all 1K series notebooks

Actually I don't think that X1400 is overclockable cause I've test it
with my E1505 and omega 6.7 with ATI tool 0.25 beta 14
