    you should be fine with the x1400. Just a quick question, how much ram do you have becauset he x1400 will be pulling up to 128mb of it for the "virtual graphics memory" so how much you have free after that will also affect how well those games play. Fear will be a bit of a challenge though medium settings should be fine

    I just got the free dual channel 1 gig at 533 mhz (bought an e1505 off dell).

    I downloaded the fear demo (the most demanding game of those) and it runs at 800x600 decently, so others will run better i guess.

    i tried far cry too, and it runs very nice at 1024x700 at very high!!

    you should be fine, demanding games will be a little hard on it but for the most part you should be successful in playing at decent frames.
