    Hi,

So it all started when I got NWN 2. The graphics were fine, if a bit choppy, except for the fact that fire effects, as well as the map and inventory screen, were completely incomprehensible - merely a jumble of random colours. I thus decided to update my video card... First of all, I should mention that I had trouble finding the version number of the previous driver. Regardless, I uninstalled the previous driver, as per the instructions on the ATI website, and downloaded the new one. For some reason, however, when I initiate the 'atimcatw' update application, after loading up, it just says '...Unfortunately, this software update cannot be installed on your system'. OK... so I followed the link on the 'Updating Mobile Video Card Drivers' thread on this website, and downloaded the '7-4-mobile-xp-dd-ccc-enu-44983.exe' driver. That driver solved the problem in NWN 2 now, but now my resolutions are going wacky. I now can't get resolutions that I'd got previously (i.e. I can no longer get 1400 x 900), and when I change resolutions in games, there are always 2 of each resolution option (i.e. 2 options for 800x600, etc.) In fact, when I chose 800x600 for NWN 2, the entire screen orientation flipped sideways!!! What is wrong? Did I not completely uninstall the previous driver or something? Help would be very appreciated! Thanks,
