    I need Help...

I just installed Diablo II with the latest patch 1.12a on my laptop with Vista Business and Intel 965GM x3100, everything worked.. The problem i have is that the games shows in a small center box, i changed the resolution in the game to 800*600, the screen got a little bit bigger, but still, how do i make it full screen??

Diablo II doesn't normally run in window mode unless on the shortcut target box you have "\Diablo II directory etc" -w. Just get rid of the '-w' and it should run in full screen. Otherwise, it might be the other 3rd party programs you're using.

I had the same issue on my older Dell with the integrated card. Try this:

This will work for Intel Graphics Media Accelerators (I have 965 Express)

    1) Right-click on the desktop
    2) Go to graphics options -> Panel fit -> Full screen (no border)

If it is not there, look for variations... possibly
    1) Graphics Properties
    2) Display Settings
    3) Aspect Ratio Options
    4) Full screen (no border)

BTW, full screen will distort the game and make it stretched if you have a widescreen monitor (which you probably do). Change it to "Maintain aspect ratio". It will keep bars on the side (or top) but looks the best, by far. I play StarCraft like this and it looks fine.

I tried on graphic properties, but i don't have the "Maintain aspect ratio function" in intel graphic properties...
Yes i have a widescreen monitor with 1280 x 800 resolution, what i found out is that if i change the resoltion to 1024 x 768 or 800 x 600 on the monitor, Diablo II works on full screen, if i run it Diablo II on the default laptop display -1280 x 800, it displays the small screen. I wish i could run it on the default display.

That's interesting. You have the same video chipset as me. Have you tried installing a newer video driver? (I am assuming you have)

I have a Toshiba Satellite Pro U300, i tried to install the latest driver for the 965GM from Intel, but it won't install, it tells me that i should look for the drivers from the manufacturer.. Then i went to Toshiba downloads, and the version i have is the latest.. (7.14.10.1329) So i have to wait until Toshiba puts new video drivers for the U300.

Diablo II runs great, but each time that i wanna play i have to change my monitor resotion from 1280 to 1024.
