So you want the screen scretched... Ok here is the deal. Go to the properties of your screen (right-click at your wallpaper). There you can see a tab that says something like: Monitors. Click on that, there you see your notebook screen. Go to the properties of the screen and make sure that the image fits the whole screen.

    Screenie from CCC. Good luck.

    Charlie :)

nah i think you got it wrong
when i had the catalyst drivers...the games used to fill the whole screen
after installing the omega drivers....whenever i launch a game....the gameplay screen reduced in size from the sides.........this also happens when i set the desktop resolution to 1024 * 768

Its called image scaling, Charlie is correct. All wide screen monitors do it when you dont use a wide screen resolution. To disable it in Omega Drivers, right click on the desktop, go to properties. From there click on the settings tab, then the advanced button. In the new dialog box click on displays. Then click your notebook panel and select the "Expand while maintaining aspect ratio" option.

I personally prefer the aspect ratio scaling... stretches things less. Actually, I usually prefer just running games in real full screen, rather than stretching it ;)
